Anne-Marie and Shane tied the knot at Bridgewater Estate in Auckland. She looked absolutely stunning in her Grace Loves Lace Gown and her mothers veil. What really stood out for me was the love they have for their family and friends. I loved how Dad held onto her with a tight grip until he passed her onto Shane. Here are a few of my fave images from their big day.
Here is Part Two of Raj and Kareshmas Wedding celebration. Kareshma wore the most beautiful Anna Schimmel long sleeve gown, the beading and details were just exquisite (we had to be careful around Bosley the Cat - he loved it just as much as everyone else). Raj and the boys turned heads with their very suave Working Style Suits. They said "I Do" at St Georges Church in Epsom and then had the party at Villa Maria Winery at Airport Oaks. We had ample time for photos and worked up a photo storm at Cornwall Park and in Mangere Bridge. It was another very cool day and I have to thank everyone for being so friendly, welcoming and generally just amazing to be around - so much laughing, cheering and warmth.
Special mentions to Kate Wark of Kate Wark Photography for being that special second photographer gal who helped me with the boys and ceremony. Cant wait to work together again (Mexico? Japan? Tahiti? Any preference? Hehe) and Rachelle Fisher for the amazing makeup! You are so good at what you do, I can't wait to see more work of yours!
Kareshma and Raj are the craziest most fun couple ever - as soon as I met them for our first meeting I knew we would be friends even well after the wedding. Easy to talk to, easy to laugh and joke around with. I was lucky enough to spend two amazing days with them for their two-part wedding celebration. For the first day we started off at Cornwall Park for their bridal session where Kareshma arrived in the most beautiful White Sari I have ever seen. She looked absolutely stunning! Raj was looking very dapper rocking his suit like a Prince. We then followed up Cornwall park with their Ceremony at the Mahatma Ghandi Centre in Mt Eden. As my first time shooting an Indian Ceremony I was completely taken back with the explosion of colour. All the women looked stunning in their colourful Sari's and as a photographer who loves colour - this was a dream come true!
Sylvain and Eve are the most beautiful people to work with. They both grew up in France and now reside in little ol' New Zealand. I wish you could hear them speak - both fluent in French, its such an amazing language to just listen to while working (Im awesome at multi-tasking hehe). The whole morning I was spell bound by them and their family who made the big trek from the other side of the globe. So many wonderful other world stories to be told. They both got ready in the same house (such a cool idea, it made it so emotional and the seeing the sparks between these two was just insane). They set off for their intimate celebration with under 20 guests on Palm Beach, Waiheke. There was so much to capture and we even took some gorgeous portraits of all the couples and families that was there. Thats the great thing about small weddings - everyone gets a "bridal shoot". Thank you to Eddison Te Reo for assisting me.
